Hi Linda,
Thank you so much for posting these awesome pics. of our beloved Nilgiri hills! Ketti valley will always hold a special place in my heart as we had a house there and lived there for some time. I have been told that Ketti valley is the widest valley in the world! Any confirmation on this? Keep up the good work!
Regards,
Peter.

Siva, I think you are right! I remember the teashop, which was the nearest shop to our house. Ooty was 3 kms. away from us. If we needed a box of matches, candles or kerosene oil, I would go to this shop and purchase these items. The shop was situated in a scenic spot called Valley View. From here there was a road going down to Lawrence School, Lovedale. I have also walked to Ooty many times from our house in Ketti! My house has long since been demolished. I too hope the teashop still remains!
Peter.
